A bum of a product August 30, 2010 emlewis After 5 hours of use, it quit. Died. Have a replacement, but have only used it for 2 hours. Hope it lasts. Small and compact, but not sure of the life expectancy.
Fair product, but quite glitchy. June 26, 2010 R. Snyder (Billings, MT) This MP3 player has fair sound, but the equalizier option is useless. The product is also glitchy. I had to use the "reset" button right away because it stopped working.
You Get What You Pay For April 25, 2010 Deadguy (Peoria, IL) It serves its purpose as it plays MP3s and holds a relatively large amount of audio files. The main problems I have with this is that it doesn't automatically go to the last file that was played before turning the MP3 Player off and the forwarding and rewinding of large audio files is very slow. I should have just paid a little bit more for one of the better models.
Excellent for the price April 8, 2010 Deaf Tirzah I trust the SanDisk name. Their products are excellent, especially their flash drives. I was impressed by the quality of this product considering the price and its size. It's not flimsy and recordings are very clear. I wish I had bought the 2GB instead of the 1GB. Unfortunately you can't record from the FM radio to the external flash memory.
good replacement for coby style player March 11, 2010 harry krishna after putting google chrome os on my hong kong special (<$20 to get it to the door), i found that while i still had a usb drive, i no longer had an mp3 player. wanted a player that could play music and serve as usb drive, all without a "world of its own". the express does that. interface with fedora linux was simple and seamless. 1gb is enough for me. i load up one artist or one genre. can't think of an artist that i need more than a gigabyte at once. abandoned lanyard early on - not necessary unless you are at a nudist resort. figured i would have to replace ear buds - didn't happen. very clean sound with plenty of volume.
