My 16 meg Zen Wi-Fi died with the white screen of death after two years. I bought this 8 meg unit as a repllacement. It lasted one week and froze with the white screen of death. On the plus side, Creative is sending me a replacement. In the meantime, I bought an inexpensive RCA Pearl (2 meg <$30) and it sounds better than the Zen (if you use the Creative earplugs). I probably won't even use the replaement Zen that Creative is sending me.

Very nice look & design.
I,ve been using 2 Zen V Plus, 1 Zen & 2 Zen X-Fi.
Zen V Plus has feature the others don't have. You can turn the screen
off if you just listen to music.
About Zen, good player, nice look & all the control are well placed.
And about Zen X-Fi, the nice look doesn't work well.
They moved the power button to the booney, it's really hard if you
use the case designed for the product. also the navigation controls
are really tiny & you may need a flash light to look what you are
pressing. Other than that It's a Zen.

I've owned a few mp3 players, Philips, sansa, and this one; i bought this one because of its speaker, which is really cool, especially when I'm at work and cannot have ear buds in my ear; the speaker could be louder, but not a lot can be expected from such a small speaker.
it is very easy to add music, either with windows media player, or the software it comes with; adding movies is also very easy with the software it comes with, and you don't need to worry about converting the files, it does it for you; the video quality is very good, the screen is an ok size, but I knew that when i bought it, it was purchased mainly for music.
The ear buds that come with the mp3 player are nice.
still, i should have just saved my money and purchased the Archos media tablet.

Product doesn't have very good help support. However, it's a great player with great sound for the money. Easy to load files. Manuvering is a little complicated but once you get it down, it's a very slick player with some great functions.
