Way Better Than iPod TouchMay 15, 2010 M. Proudlove(Cornell University) I can't say enough good things about this. Everybody considers the iPod touch to be the best mp3 player or pmp around, but this trumps it in every way. The screen is amazingly bright, clear, and vibrant. The speaker was surprisingly not gimmicky but rather very high quality. It is impressively durable. The UI is intuitive, cool looking and way more customizable than the iPod Touch. Plus it has more little features than the iPod Touch and better battery life, despite manufacturers' stated claims.
AwesomeNovember 16, 2009 Tyler Valitalo 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Looks great, battery lasts basically a full day, extremely easy to use, great features, very portable (I skateboard and play other sports with it in my pocket), and I find the sound quality to be better than that of other top MP3 player brands, good sized screen, decent speakers, picks up radio, has a built in clock, recorder, alarm, and even a sound equalizer setting (so that you don't go deaf) etc, plays good quality music and movies... and for those of you who like blowing out your ears, this thing is perfectly capable of doing so with the proper headphones(with the sound equalizer setting off)! ;D
Most importantly, this thing doesn't have the hassles of brands such as the iPood (my pants) when adding media to it.
Need I say more?
The best player for videos.July 13, 2009 Lisa Shipman(Kings Mountain, NC) This is the best video player that I have ever owned. I absolutely love it. The screen display is terrific. The colors are bright and the size of the screen is the best. The player is kinda big, but I can still drop it in my purse for on the go video watching.
hated it.May 23, 2009 Topher(Lafayette, IN) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
i had it for a day.
cons:::
* Took a whole day to charge on the first day.
* customer support by phone is the worst!
* they told me i couldn't return it because i opened it. finally threatened them with a lawsuit (for other reasons) and then they took it back.
I would highly advise you not to buy it.
I Wish I Could Give This 6 Stars. If I Could, Believe Me, I SOO WouldDecember 20, 2008 Mind over Matter(In the Mind) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's a pity that creative visions discontinued this product. The main reason why is because of the size of the screen. If people watched movies on it, it would suck the battery dry before the movie would end.
I never watched movies on it..just various videos. It's also a great place to keep pics. Creative Visions DEFINITELY needs to make something in between this and their Xfi. The x-fi is kind of complicated and the screen is considerably smaller..and the volume is a lot lower :(
I purchased one of these a while back, and it got messed up because someone soaked it, I HAD to get a replacement..and luckily I did, before they were all gone.
Its such a pity that Creative Visions would go from this to the x-fi..that's like 5 steps down :(. If Creative Visions doesnt find a happy medium somewhere in between these two models, I will have to switch to Wolverine for future ipods
