easy to install AUX port July 23, 2010

This device is okay. It is definitely much better than any wireless transmitter I have used in the past. When the volume is up real loud I get a little bit of static.

This is the easiest way to add an AUX port to your car stereo. If you have done any basic automotive work or have any electrical experience at all you will be able to install this easily. I did have to purchase an antenna adapter kit for ten bucks. I found this adapter at a local Murrays/O'Reillys parts store.

This is a great product!! It is good to be able to play my Zune in my car
since that is where I am at 80% of the time. This is really a great alternative if you do not have an aux port on your car radio!!

I had several FM Transmitters in the past all had left me unsatisfied. With the Scosche FM transmitter I was pleased by its performance. It isn't as clear as my high frequency FM stations but it is right on par with the 88.9 frequency that I have in my area. It's cheaper than replacing the stereo with one that has an audio input build it so for your money this is the way to go.

Overall I am very happy with the performance of this product. I didn't have many options for my MP3 Player hookup and I didn't want to replace the factory stereo because I would loose the steering wheel controls. There is not a lot of FM Modulators out in the market to choose from so you are pretty much stuck with this unit. This is the second Scosche unit I had to install in my car because the first one crapped out after a year (only a 90 day warranty). Installation is simple and straight forward but there are really no instructions with the unit. I like the new switch/plug console but the double stick tape doesn't hold in the heat.

Real Nice. Works as it should. I gave it a 4 since it did not come radio ready for my car. I had run around all over to find the antenna adapters I needed so the antenna in my car would attach to the modulator. There should be info with this listing telling you that from the beginning so you can order them at the same time. It would have been cheaper to by them from the same company and take less time.
