Pathetic / Bad. August 18, 2010 techside (Philly, PA) The 3.5mm jack is too long or shaped wrong. I have difficulty hearing the highs and lows at the same time without very carefully adjusting the input-jack. Thankfully I use these at my desk. However, the sound quality is miserable as well. I have a set of mini earbuds (I think they may be skullcandy brand) and they blow these away in clarity.
I Wish The Noise Canceling Canceled More Noise August 3, 2010 I Am Here (Pasadena, CA USA) I have owned these headphones for a little more than three years. I was in the market for a pair of headphones that I could wear at the gym to block out the annoying music blasting through the gym speakers, these headphones accomplished the job quite well. I realized after awhile that it might not be a good idea to soak them in too much workout sweat, so I stopped using them at the gym. I now use them when riding in noisy taxi cabs or when I'm reading or writing at a loud conversation infested coffee shop. I wish that the noise canceling feature canceled out noise even when the music being listened to is more soft than loud. Presently I am using them to watch television at night so that I don't disrupt the sleep of my roommate. I am finding it difficult to keep them on for any more than three hours; especially because while wearing glasses the pressure begins to bring discomfort to the area around my ears. When I read some of the reviews saying that they are not durable and that they break easily; I wonder if these people are sitting on the headphones or abusing them in some way. The pair I have are as strong as they were when I bought them nearly four years ago. They are not absolutely perfect but are quite good.
I simply love em July 14, 2010 Liz I've owned these headphones for about 2 years now and it was well worth the money. Yes, they squeeze on your ears a bit but that doesn't bother me much anymore. It quiets down eletronical noises, I found, so people talking and etc will not be quieted- but a roaring A/C or a car alarm will be hushed. They do everythig I want them to do-- and that's to make my music and etc sound clear and hush noises If neessary. The price is good too-- and they don't have the giant cushon-y nonsense other noise-cancelling headphones have. And hey, they're slimmer in design too. I like em-- and they're a keeper.
Great price...great sound June 9, 2010 little johnny These are great at the refurbished price...very nice rich sound...haven't tested on airplane yet. Love Sony
Still like brand new, Stops working mysterious! May 4, 2010 Z. Xue (VA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Mine is still like brand new, it stops working mysterious! There is no sound at all. I suspect the wire was broken so opened the headphone and checked with a multimeter. The wire is not broken. I also changed battery. No luck.
What kind of joke is this!!!
I want to throw it to SONY's face.
