I purchased the SoundDock II recently and my whole experience was great. The product was delivered ahead of schedule. It arrived in a very well thought out package and assembly was a breeze. I connected the power unit and plugged it in. I first had a I Phone second generation and the sound quality was unbelievable for a unit of this size. I bet 2 or 3 of my friends will be buying one soon. It charges your I Phone while it is docked, which is a benefit. It also has an audio in port for external devices. After a week I traded in my I Phone for the new I Phone 4.
Be aware that although the new I Phone 4 works with Sound Dock II, you lose the remote control capability for switching songs or play lists. The remote volume still works, but you have to manually change songs if it is docked to an I Phone 4. Other than this small issue, the system really exceeded my expectations for sound quality and volume. Holy buckets.....I had it on the deck of my cabin at full blast and my neighbor 300 yards away called to complain about the noise. Great system for the price of $300 plus free shipping.

When I first got the box, I was a little bit sad cause the box was so small. I thought it was a bit bigger,but when I placed the Ipod WOW, it surprised me, it sounded awesome....I also got the carrying case, which the Sounddock fits perfect, it also has a space for your Ipod, earplugs, and the control....Thanks Bose, I will be a faithful customer........

I use this in my 900 SF shop space (with 30 foot ceilings) and I love it. Small footprint, big sound. As other reviewers noted, ipod control from the remote is limited. But that never bothered me, as I tend to pick up my ipod and select what I want to play anyway. I set it down, the Bose unit plays it. Easy. Really, really good for the size and price. Works well with both my iphone and ipod touch. Highly recommended.

This SoundDock by Bose sounds great. Easy to use - just plug it in, dock your IPOD and you're on your way. Nothing fancy - you can only adjust volume and stop and start playing. I have the latest IPOD Classic, so if I want to make adjustments to bass and treble, I can do that on the IPOD thru the built in equalizer. Just make that adjustment before docking and that's it.

I bought this for my husband for his birthday. He had another IPOD docking station and was having a lot of trouble with it. So, I surprised him with this. HE LOVES IT. He can't say enough good things about how he loves the sound, etc. He recommends it wholeheartedly.
