Product Description Take your music on the run with Panasonic's lightweight, low-cost RP-HT21 over-ear headphones. Their large, 30 mm diaphragms offer full-bodied sound free of the harshness and discomfort that usually accompany earbud-style earphones. The headphones' open-air design minimizes adverse resonances, and Panasonic's XBS acoustic ports naturally emphasize bass frequencies for rich sound from nearly any source.

Great phones that stay on while working out. September 7, 2010 Nanday Conure (California) My ears are too small for all of those ear "buds" that have taken over the market. Exasperatingly so those things are way too big to stick into my ears and thus fall out when I move. I need earphones that STAY ON and close to the head while working out and these thank goodness do that. Perhaps I am rough on earphones because unfortunately I swear from my head and so I guess the moisture wears them out, but that is why these being so reasonable is even better. I am going to try and get another pair.
Astonishing Quality September 6, 2010 J. Chap (Tallahassee, FL USA) I am impressed by the excellent sound quality of these Panasonic headphones. Of all the inexpensive headphones I have used, these have the best sound quality by far. It's amazing to me how a headphone so cheap can be this good. The sound is pretty clear with a good amount of bass. The build quality is sturdy and seems reliable.
It's true that the sound quality isn't quite as good as that of some more expensive headphones, but for everyday use, they sound pretty darn good.
Comfortable, affordable and great sound September 2, 2010 douglas5799 The Earbud type of headphones that come with MP3 players are not my cup of tea.The sound quality is poor and they hurt my ears.
I discovered these Panasonic ones by accident at Fry's but was a bit skeptical because they're so cheap.
I was blown away by the sound quality of the RP-HT21. I had tried more expensive ones with not nearly the sound quality of these.
I'm so glad Amazon still carries them since they're hard to find and there's no Fry Electronics near where I currently live. They were often out of stock of them, anyway.
Cheap Headphones Cheap Quality August 30, 2010 Casanova/McCartney I needed a pair of headphones since my last headphones had a short in them after almost a year of use. Well, I purchased these strictly out of economics reasons. I didn't believe I was getting the greatest headphones, but neither did I think I would have a short in them within the first 4 hours. This is exactly what happened. I took the headphones out of the box at school to use them. Before class I put them in my bookbag. After class, I am having to tilt my head one direction to receive any sound at all and the feed will only come in the right ear. What a peice of garbage, couldnt even last a half a day. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Sounds great with music, but... August 30, 2010 Ann A. (MA) I got a great sound when plugged into my laptop & listened to music. Very comfortable, light-weight. BUT, I bought this with the intention of replacing my headset for my Panasonic RR930 Transcriber and it does not work the way my original one does in that the sound only comes out on one side. So if you're purchasing this for your transcriber, I wouldn't do it. But for listening to music on my laptop, I liked it.
