AS Advertised July 14, 2010 ltroutman54 Works fine. AM little weak but better than other brand at same cost. Good sound for the money and fairly easy to install. Could use countersunk screws to allow for smooth cabinet shelf when finished.
Great for a kitchen.. July 13, 2010 Rebecca I purchased this for my kitchen. It is very nice and sounds good. Dont put it above a toaster, it will melt!
Great buy July 12, 2010 Steve Morgan (Alpharetta, GA USA) In this economy I've had to think about value for most of my purchases and think I got great value with the CDK50. It's out of the way, cost only a fraction of the unit it replaces and meets my needs for music and news in the kitchen.
Good sound but weak antenna. June 30, 2010 Elsie C. Brackett 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had Two other under cabinet Radios. This one has a much better sound quality. The Antenna system is as bad as the others. Why can't they receive stations like other radios in my house do?
Bad radio reception, ok sound June 28, 2010 Robert Carlson (Ithaca, New York United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I looked around a good deal for a radio that would best fit a kitchen, and this radio seemed to be the best. Yes i know, radios are so "last generation" ... but i do like my NPR in the morning ... anyways .... installs nicely .... fits under the counter as designed .... as noted in other reviews, the FM antenna is built into the power chord, which is a really stupid idea .... and there is no way that i have found to attach one .... so if you are trying to avoid all those other electrical things in your kitchen to get decent reception ... good luck ... we have failed .... When playing the CD, the music is ok, but do not think you will get a full range of sound out this thing .... So, it really does not work as a radio for me, nor does it fill the room with sound ....
oh well. ....
