missing the 6.6' extension January 7, 2009 Great headphones but the extension chord was not in the box. Returned it to Amazon being assured the reship would contain it. The reship did not contain the chord. Amazon was gracious enough to issue me a credit to purchase one.
great look. great sound. January 6, 2009 I bought these for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves them. They have a very crisp, clean sound and are extremely comfortable. My only complaint with them is that they are not very quite. I can hear the music my husband is listening to (loudly) when I am in the same room with him. Other then that... great product!
Panasonic RP-HTX7 Headphones. January 6, 2009 For the $$$ this a truly excellent pair of headphones. That they are the Ryan Sheckler version has no influence on the sound quality which is rich and crisp. Other comments regarding ear comfort were of some concern for me, but I have found comfort not to be an issue. I have worn them for hours at a time and find no problem. I play music at a fairly loud level, and my wife has no complaint as she watches TV while sitting within 4 feet of me. All in all, a real bargain for anyone wanting quality sound at a very reasonable price.
solid headphones December 29, 2008 I had been looking at headphones in the 150-200 dollar range for a while and had never really found anything that I was 100% satisfied with. They all looked so... blah. I happened upon these totally by accident and for the price (currently 35 here on amazon!) I couldn't say no. The sound quality is solid, they are light weight, and very comfortable.
Obviously the standout feature of these headphones is their look. The 70s styling cues of the cups, headband and side attachments make these headphones way more awesome to own than anything else on the market. These are absolutely worth their asking price. If you are in the market for really solid sounding, good looking monitors than look no more.
Worth The Money December 29, 2008 Great sound for circa $30-40. Gets marginal at full retail. Good bass, lacks a bit of imagery and depth, but then again, I get that out of my $200+ Sennheisers so the Panasonics are a great value. They're also very comfortable, except for sweat building at the (not leather) ear pads.
