Excellent bass. Great overall sound for what they are. I have a pair I keep at work, and another for working out or yardwork. They fit well and don't slip off your ears. The cable is incredible, it is nylon wound for durability and the bungee on the earpiece prevents you from damaging the connection if it gets snagged.

I've had these headphones for a couple months and I love them. The bass is awesome and they have a full, clear sound. They can get loud and still sound great with no static sound or noise.
The only problem I've ever had with them, which is more of a minor annoyance than an actual problem, is that the cord is so long that I sometimes get it caught on things like doorknobs or other objects when I'm walking around. It's more funny than it is annoying! Speaking of the cord, it's wrapped in a fabric covering, so it doesn't tangle or knot up like other headphone cords will...and its a lot more durable.
I see myself having these headphones for a long time thanks to that durability. I use them every single day!
They don't hurt my ears at all. I find them quite comfortable and usually wear them for hours at a time. If you're looking for durable headphones that wont fall off and have awesome bass and sound, these are for you.
Comfortable, Durable and Inexpensive December 12, 2008
I love these headphones, and have been using this model or one of its predecessors for years. They are very comfortable and work well with glasses. They are also EXTREMELY durable, I have a pair of the Philips SBC HS520 (an earlier version) that I have used daily for four years. Sound quality is good for its price range. I would recommend these for anyone who uses and abuses their headphones.

I have owned numerous high quality SONY headphones and I love these low cost headphones. I currently own the new SONY MDR-NC7 noise cancelling headphone and will be returning them after comparing the sound. I bought these as temp replacement and have been shocked by the quality. Buy them and be prepared for great, deep, quality sound.
