Amazon.com Product Description Wake to your favorite iPod tunes each day of the week with the DreamGear i.Sound Time Travel personal speaker system. Equipped with a high-quality built-in amplifier, an iPod docking station, and a backlit digital LED alarm clock, the Time Travel makes a great addition to your collection of travel accessories. The system sounds crisp and dynamic thanks to its pair of side speakers, which deliver a far better sound than most conventional clock radios. The built-in docking station, meanwhile, lets you charge and sync an iPod 3G, iPod 4G with click wheel, iPod photo, iPod video, iPod nano (1G and 2G), and iPod mini while you listen. Best of all, the system measures only a few inches across, so it won't take up excess space in your luggage or on your bedside table. Other details include a sleek white finish that complements most iPods, an auxiliary input for connecting older iPods and other portable audio devices, A/V and S-video outputs for hooking up to a TV or monitor (ideal for the iPod video), and a snooze button. The Time Travel, which runs for up to 60 hours on four AA batteries (sold separately), is backed by a 120-day warranty. What's in the Box Time Travel speaker system, AC adapter, user's manual.

Oh well! October 8, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I received this item for Christmas 2006 as I wanted something small and compact by my bed. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to use, looks cheap and the sound isn't great and after a few months of use the front fell off ...... but I guess you get what you pay for!
Waste of Money September 21, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is supposed to work w/either batteries or plugged in to an outlet - but I was only able to get it working with batteries in. Once the betteries were drained in a couple weeks, it stopped working. I replaced the batteries w/new ones and found out it wouldn't even works w/batteries anymore - forget plugging it. It completely died. This product is TERRIBLE don't waste your money. Don't they test these things before they put them on the market? This is the worst electronic device I have ever bought. ALSO - I gave it one star only because ther is no option for NO STARS.
Cute, but no support February 21, 2007 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
No support renders the unit useless.
My son got this for Christmas. It's cute, and the sound quality is fine (about what you'd expect from a small unit like this). The Time Travel is designed to work with iPods, of course. Since iPods come in many sizes, the Time Travel comes with "fitting brackets" that align the electrical slot at the bottom of the iPod with the male end at the top of the Time Travel. My son has a 8GB iPod nano, but the fitting bracket for nanos didn't align things properly! (Not even close.) He was upset and disappointed, but I told him not to worry -- that the solution would probably be as easy as calling iSound and asking for the bracket for his model iPod. After all, the box clearly says "for all iPod models." I went to their Web site and sent an email to the support email address. I didn't get a response after 3 days, so I called and got voice mail. I left a detailed message, and asked them to call me back. No one called back. Today I called again -- VM again -- and left another message. Does anyone actually work at iSound?
Selling this product without a properly sized bracket is bad. Providing no support is worse. If you buy this product you better cross your fingers and hope it comes with the correct parts.
Defective January 24, 2007 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I bought this unit in black, it drains my ipod in about an hour. Drains it completely dead, I tried it twice. Also, despite item description, this unit has no S-video or audio/video outputs at all. Even if it worked, it's too complicated to use the alarm function on a daily basis - needs much refinement. I wanted to review the white one as well to let people know about the problems with it. Nice & small, great idea, but it needs reworking.
