This hard drive case looks great and works great with the WD Passport 500gb external drive. It allows you to store the hard drive and the USB cable all together.

Got this for my son in law. He thought it was great for his portable drive that we also got for him.

this case is very protective of the external HD. i gave it four stars instead of five because it's rather bulky. however, it provides the case with great amounts of support. the HD fits right in and the mesh is quite suitable for the USB cable.

it is everything the manufacturer says and they should charge whatever they want. But when i saw the exact same item @ walmart for less than half price, i was dismayed to say the least...

This case is slightly bigger than what I needed for my portable hard drive (western digital passport), but it still works well & holds everything. No big complaints.
