great product really does last 42 hrs non-stop, it does make the ipod quite large but it is much worth it on long trips only problem it gave me was if you plug it into the comuter while the ipods in it, it gives the ipod problems other than that i highly recommened this product for anyone whos looking for more battery life
 Good Battery, Bad Design September 12, 2008
I got this because I was finding myself always needing to charge my ipod. It solved that problem but this thing really could use some better design. The pictures don't really show how huge this thing makes your ipod. None of the holders or accessories I have will work with the ipod while this is on it. I was also disappointed that it wouldnt work on the classic. But, if you don't use holders or other size specific accessories, this would be a great addition.

The fact that my battery can last multiple times longer on a charge is a no-brainer.
Seeing the battery at "full" for a longer time than I'm use to was fantastic.
Yes the battery makes the ipod a bit bulky and the charge time is longer but it
doesn't bother me one bit compared to the expanded amount of playing hours.
Long as I can make less recharges than necessary it makes this purchase worth while.

My son looked for a battery solution for his iPod video and found this one after looking at the reviews. The things he likes are:
1. Smooth integration with the iPod. It all looks like it belongs together and does not have the clunky external battery connected by a wire arrangement.
2. The battery life is way longer than he is willing to sit and watch a movie.
3. It is durable and the case works well.
Overall, we would get this again for any new iPods.
